In the process of modernization,
Vitalon has worked unceasingly towards “automated
production, state-of-the-art equipment, and computerized
management” as our goals. Vitalon believes that
with continuous developments in science and improvements
in information technology, it is necessary in
the 21st century to keep up with the pace of change
in order to continue developing an enterprise
and become a truly international brand.
In 1986, total computerization of operation helped
us raise the quality of our management in many
areas. We have thus far installed more than 20
different application systems, which we have linked
together in a complete management information
station and an effectively structured company
information network.
In 1988, Vitalon moved to a new plant in Taichung
Industrial Zone with 30,000 sq. m. of floor space.
The new plant incorporated high-tech automated
production lines, which expanded our capacity
significantly. It also gave us greater control
over our quality in production. This brought us
toward a new era and made us the first company
in Taiwan certified for the GMP quality designation.
